PTC Delivery Policies

The Philadelphia Table Company delivery van goes out on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s each week. We ask that you please accommodate us on one of these days, as we have our very own makers delivering the pieces that they built by hand for you. In order to maintain this level of service, we have to be very strict about our delivery days so we don’t delay projects the makers are currently working on at the workshop.

How it works…

  • Once your project is complete, we will contact you to set up a delivery on the next available Tuesday or Thursday. Once we confirm the day with you and other clients on the same delivery day, we will put together a delivery route. You will be given a 48hr advance notice on the delivery time window that you can expect our team to arrive. In addition, we will ask that you provide a phone number for the day of delivery in which our team will text you with an exact ETA when en route to your stop.

“What if I’m not ready for the table?”

  • At Philadelphia Table Company we understand that sometimes there are many moving parts. Unfortunately, we have limited space in the workshop. We like to get finished projects out ASAP, as it is tough to maintain our quality standards with high congestion of projects at the workshop. Once your project is complete and you have been contacted to set up delivery, you will be given up to 3 consecutive delivery days to accommodate. (For example: Tuesday, Thursday, Tuesday OR Thursday, Tuesday, Thursday). If you are unable to accept delivery within these three delivery days, a $100/week holding fee will be applied to your remaining balance.

“But I’m only available from 10am-12pm and you told me 1-3pm…”

  • In order for us to control our production flow and get projects completed in a timely manner, we have multiple deliveries on each delivery day. We use a routing system so that we can insure that our delivery van is operating as efficiently as possible. Depending where the other stops are in the day will determine your delivery time window.

Is there anyway to delay the delivery of my table?

  • Yes, if you give us enough notice. We will reach out prior to the fabrication of your item at this time you can let us know that you will not be ready to receive the item and we will delay production. Furthermore, if you are closing on a new house, renovating or making modifications that will prevent us from delivering the item please be clear about those timelines at the time of purchase. Additionally, please remain in close contact with us if timelines change on your end. Once your item is in production the policies above will apply.
